Anxiety and Depression

Anxiety and depression are mental health conditions that can leave you feeling very alone and in need of help.  When you are experiencing chronic health problems it is not suprising that anxiety and depression is common. Mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and acceptance and committment therapy (ACT) have been shown to be effective for depression and a wide range of anxiety disorders including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).  Sleep disturbances are common in both anxiety and depression, which can be treated simultaneously. Dr. Gentry worked several years at the Veterans Affairs and has extensive training in effective treatments for PTSD and working with Veterans.
